Submit an innovative idea for the reduction of single-use plastic in SPAR Eastern Cape’s Clean-Up Challenge competition and stand a chance to win a share of R250 000.
The retailer has pledged R250 000 to be split between winners in the following categories: corporates (R75 000), small businesses (R50 000), tertiary institutions (R50 000), schools (R50 000) and customers (R25 000).
Entrants in the above categories should take part in groups and submit their entries to email@example.com by August 15. Each entry will receive a code via email to acknowledge receipt.
Participants must then send an outline of their proposal on how to drastically reduce single-use plastic and/or plastic pollution between August 15 and January 31 next year.
The group with the most innovative or effective idea will be declared the winners. The competition forms part of SPAR EC’s STOP Plastic campaign.
